Aerial 1080
Precise placement of aerial 1080 quickly lowers pest populations over vast areas of difficult terrain, using multiple helicopters and hi-tech equipment. Aerial 1080 baiting controls multiple harmful species, such as rats, possums, mustelids, and wallabies. It is a cost effective and safe solution to protect our unique flora and fauna, when used with careful precision.
Repeated aerial 1080 applications have been proven to be successful in increasing at-risk native species, such as the kōkako in the Hunua Ranges, where breeding pairs have had a significant recovery.
